The Rockford Files

Rockford is down to two Bikini Clubs and two Jerk Shacks (that's the Good News) -- reading the local paper, one can see that CRIME is outpacing entertainment 10 to 1. Bank robberies, drug deals going bad, home invasions, etc. -- it would seem like T & A should be the least of their worries. The Tiger Tail is located on the East End of State Street in the midst of a hotel/motel campus isolated from the street crime.

Businessmen are able to find reasonable accommodations, restaurants and bars within minutes of their stay. In this vein, we walked across the parking lot to the Tail. produced valid I.D., frisked, and paid a $3 cover to enter. Domestic beers were $5 and cheap Margaritas were available for $3. There may have been 6 or 7 video slot machines to play. A DJ was playing songs for maybe a dozen or more dancers who did pole tricks and stage dances before moving around the bar for a compensatory tip walk. (No Flashes, No Stevies, nuttin ... jus gimme $$$ or gimme Shelter) -- Convo was strained as the place is small, music is loud and the lights are as bright as a retail store. IF and I mean IF you want to spend $20 per song after you pay a $10 VIP Room Toll, to have the same bikini-clad dancer take more of your $$$$ and you have a Vivid Imagination, you can move into a darkened room illuminated with Christmas minature lights for "SEXiness'" -- Please be my guest. Been there, done that. Kinda like Duns River Falls in Ocho Rios (seemed dangerous, not really) I have memories of convo and tease talk with dancers: "Ginger" "Candy" "Des" & Cleo. They have Black, Latino, Po White, and an occasional Asian on the Weekends. Otherwise, You're bored and wanna drink with some other dudes and spend some travel money .... budget yourself a couple of hours. Talk some shyt , chat up the managers and you might get Free Passes to return. I did. I will.
