What is a private club?

Sunday evening, about 7pm... my expectations were low.

There was no cover on the way in prior to 7pm. On the way out I inquired: It's $5 after 7; $10 after 8. Most of the other clubs in the area are closed on Sundays. This one is open because it's a "private club". There was a sign above the front door "Non-members text your name to xxx.xxx.xxxx". I didn't do that but was admitted anyway. I had to show ID and sign my name. I scribbled something illegible below the lone other scrawl on the sheet. I don't know how that makes this a private club but I'm not going to complain or ask questions.

There was no dancing. I went to the bar to order a drink and a dancer who must be 50+ invited me to get closer. Yikes! OK. I'm 60+ but I go to strip clubs to look at, rub up on or do other nasty things with younger chicks... not like Roy Moore but under 35 please!
