First Visit Las Chavelas

I checked out Las Chevelas while visiting HK on a Friday afternoon.

It is pretty dark inside, with reddish lighting. The club is medium large, with bar and many tables, and one stage that was empty at the time. I walked around the place to check it out. Not fancy or classy, pretty much a big club with standard furniture. Mexican music. The waiter motioned me to sit down twice, but I chose not to, and did not stay after walking around.

The girls appeared more Mexican and less showgirl than HK, and were basically girls either local or more plain, IMO. There were maybe 15 girls on a Fri afternoon about 5pm, and were sitting down at tables or the bar or standing along the walls. There were TVs with sports on. I did not ask about drink or dance or arriba prices, as I was scouting, and chose not to engage. Really not enough here to interest me, but if you want a more Spanish and Mexican scene, it is one of the choices, and situated next to HK on Coahuila.
