Still A Fan

Scores has settled back into being my favorite stop on the club tour. It has just the right balance of a number of factors.

Went on a Saturday. Got in around 10:45 p.m. or so. Club is in a part of town that's not exactly great, but isn't necessarily awful, either. Valet parking is kind of a necessary evil.

The club, somehow, feels darker than it used to. I think they used to have both the main stage and the side stages lit a little better than they do now. Still, it's just about the right size -- not to big, not too small. It does have a kind of boxy feel. When you enter, you're in the back by the back bar. On the left is another bar upstairs, and on the right is a VIP lounge within view. Main stage is right in front of you in the middle. Lapper and VIP rooms are in the back.
