I went to the Rhino on...
I went to the Rhino on a Saturday night, with a friend who wanted to see the feature performer. I was excited, because the last time I went to this club, every girl was gorgeous, and incredibly sexy onstage (my previous visits were about a year ago, Spring 2005, and I was there frequently during that time). I walked in, paid my cover charge (typical $20), and went to sit at the stage. My first impression was that it was much lighter in the club than it had been before (when it was so dark you had to let your eyes adjust a bit before finding a seat). While this may sound like a plus for those wishing to see a bit more of the girls performing, I found that it changed the atmosphere of the place, and not for the better. My second impression was that it was quiet in there...wayyyy too quiet for a Saturday night crowd, and definitely quieter than before. But, I felt that this was no matter, the girls would make up for it.
Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The girls were cute, some of them with pretty nice bodies, but NOTHING compared to the lineup last Spring. The only girl up to those standards was Paris, who I do actually recall being there last Spring. Their performances, with the exception of maybe two girls, were lackluster, and, to be honest, kind of boring (I'm a stage lover, while my buddy is the lap lover). However, interaction at the rail was still up to its usual standards, a couple of girls going over the rail to touch customers and whatnot.
My friend went for a 2-for-1 nude dance ($40, as opposed to the topless $20), as we know that nude dances are where the fun is at at the Rhino...right? Wrong. I don't recall the name of the dancer (tall, blonde, small but nicely shaped breasts), but when my friend came back after the 2for1, he didn't feel any need to buy any more dances (not b/c it was sooooo good, but because he decided it wouldn't be worth it to pay for another one).
