2018 the year of new dancers
Well It has been a few months so I had to go and see what was going on in my favorite club. Sadly, this time there were ONLY 2 dancers I recognized. I did ask one of the two what happened to my other favorites and the word "retired" came up several times! Sad for me. The two things I love in a strip club are familiarity with the dancers and consistency of the quality of the dances. Both of those things are no under threat.
My two dancers that I recognize were good (I had 5 songs with each of them), but some observations of other new dancers: Air dancing, and a lot of stories of where the new girls are from being told to me and the folks sitting next to me. You would think that Follies recruits dancers from all over the US to move to Atlanta. Perhaps these reviews are a great recruiting tool now that I think about it.
Maybe things will get better with the new girls in a month or so when they catch on from the girls who have been there a few years. I did not have a bad time, I just was not blown away because of the LACK of familiarity. Once upon a time I used to watch other guys have awesome table dances to determine who I was going to get a table dance from next. This time, I saw only air dances that did not look appealing and I figured the girls giving them would be a waste of my time. This is still my favorite club of all time, but now it is like starting over. In a positive note, the club still has a very laid back approach to what my two favorites can do so the dances from them were great. I'll be back later in 2018. In the meantime girls with tenure, please teach the newbies how to dance. :-)
