Old Faithful

I've probably been to Larry's in Washington Park five or six times, and my experiences have varied between good and great. This is a compliment--consistency is important, specifically when it comes to clubs I visit when traveling for work. Speaking of which, work travel brought to me to the St. Louis area on a Monday, and as luck would have it I had about 90 minutes available in the afternoon before I had to leave to catch a flight. I arrived around 4pm, and I was met with a $2 cover and $5 wristband fee (wristbands required for private dances).

During my stay, a good variety of ladies graced the small stage nearest the bar (7s and a couple 8s; mostly white with some latino and black; mostly thin to medium build with a couple curvier ladies). It had been some time since my last visit, as I'd forgotten that apparently all dancers finish their stage sets without tops or bottoms on. Good amount of audience participation at the stage as well, with the ladies enthusiastically guiding hands over butt cheeks and boobs. There was also a new-to-me cage with a suspended rotating ring installed on the opposite side of the bar, which a few of the ladies were practicing on while the number of patrons was still relatively low.

Sadly, I only had time for a pair of $6 beer bottles and a pair of private dances from a single lady. The St. Louis area is a breath of fresh air when it comes to boob and butt grabbing during private dances compared to the rather strict Chicago-area clubs (hands only allowed on the waist at my typical spots). If I had one complaint for the afternoon, it would be that the dancers seemed a little less ambitious working the room since there weren't a lot of patrons to approach. I ended up leaving with more money in my pocket than I expected, though I did indeed have plenty of fun all the same.
