Sleeping on the Job

After a Sunday afternoon Colts game and evening dinner, my buddy and I decided to visit the Red Garter about 11p. We paid the $7 cover and sat along a wall close to the stage. There were only 4 or 5 other custies and about 5 or 6 dancers. The waitress was very friendly and approached us as soon as we sat down. We both ordered a couple of $4 beers. As I walked in, a nice young skinny blonde smiled as I walked by, and she quickly came over and sat down on my lap. She would have been my preference of the girls, so I didn't mind.

The club seemed clean and comfortable, though very dark. I had been to the club a couple of years back since they had remodeled, but I remember the old days before the remodel with the very old wooden stage. I will call it a rustic look, though some may have thought it rundown and dingy. I never minded the old look, always thought it was part of the lore and history. I had heard the stories of the legends that had worked the club back in the time like Hyapatia Lee, a star and local girl.

The young blonde was extremely athletic working the stage. We went towards the back to discuss price deciding on two dances for $40, then we went upstairs to the VIP room. The room is one medium sized room with no privacy from the other custies with the bouncer in full view always watching. There were a couple of other custies in the room at the time. Funny, the bouncer fell asleep, come to find out, it didn't matter. The LDK provided an excellent time, though there was no touching.I tipped her $20, and we went back downstairs.
