Disappointing visit

Let me start by saying that this place is a complete hit or miss. Some nights there are up to 10 eager, if not pushy girls offering private dances. Other nights there are closer to 5 and they are all sitting at the bar or on stage completely bored. This is one of the latter nights. I went at about 12:30, and while this isn't the best part of Irvington, I've never felt unsafe. I walked in, paid the $5 cover, was pat down and proceeded to the bar.

This is certainly not the nicest bar in the area. The bar itself wraps around the stage (which is often empty) in a U shape that extends farther one one side thanks the other. Cleanliness leaves something to be desired and that is especially true of the bathroom. The music is almost exclusively rap, so it's not bad if that's your thing. Lastly the club is dark. Not so dark that you can't see anything, but dark enough that you can't see everything. Which is very good. Anyone who's been to Vics will know what I mean.

Tonight there were about 8 girls ranging from a 4 to a 7. Sometimes you get lucky in there, but it's usually not much better than that with one solid 7 or 8. Tonight they all looked black, but there have been some Spanish and white girls working in there too. Most of the girls were sitting around bored. The heat wasn't working properly so they were wearing goodies and jackets. Not what you want at a strip club. A couple of them made their rounds around the bar but it was very slow.
