Lakewood View

Stopped in for the first time mid December early morning. A rare sunny day outside which was a problem going from bright sun to pitch black room. Could not see anything. Bumped into a little rope and waited for door person. Turned out to be the DJ. Not fully staffed that early I guess. Nice thing no admission during the day hours. Sprite was $5. Pretty reasonable. Had to stand and stare into total darkness waiting for eyes to adjust. Finally was able to locate a seat. Two stages in the main area one lit with a dancer cleaning the back mirrors. Sat down and listened to typical music and after a few minutes a dancer showed up and twirled around for awhile totally disinterested in the audience.

Both of us. She danced through two songs taking her top off for the last one. Attractive young lady, slender but well proportioned. After a couple of average ladies an absolutely gorgeous gal showed up. Stunning tall black girl who immediately went to the table of the other customer and disappeared into a back area. Another average dancer who after her two dances stopped by my table and asked "wanna dance" obviously not expecting a yes answer. Next dancer actually turned out to be someone I knew from old Rick's. We visited the rear area which was actually brighter than the dance area. Cameras I am guessing. Did manage to have a decent time with old acquaintance. She said there is a more private area which is an extra charge. I didn't ask but I would consider it next time. I think early morning is probably not the best time to go. Few ladies fewer customers make for an unenthusiastic atmosphere. After your eyes adjust to the poor lighting the room is more comfortable and with a few more customers the pressure to get a dance would lessen and you could enjoy the show a little bit and maybe generate some enthusiasm from the dancers. I would go back but later in the day.
