About what I expected on New Year's Day

I have a lady friend that likes going to SCs with me that I wanted to introduce to Follies, but we don't often get to see each other early in the day so we can hit dayshift, but we did on New Year's Day. I expected it would be different than normal, but that was OK as I didn't want to overwhelm her.

$10 parking and no cover at around 4pm on a Monday.

Club was busy, but not packed. Found seats at the bar right away. Not many dancers working (expected), customers outnumbered dancers 10 to 1 (not expected), but most of the customers seemed to be the freeloaders who walk in (no parking), come early (no cover), never sit down (don't get hassled about buying drinks), and just walk around to wherever dances are going on to watch other people's dances. I'd be willing to pay a high daytime cover if it would weed some of these folks out to reduce the crowd.
