I Take It All Back, It Sucks Again!!!!

This is a review based on two evening visits the past few weeks. After a couple of years of bitching about this place, a couple of months ago I had two great visits and posted a decent review of Lucky’s. They had a name change, some good looking new girls, the place was fixed up quite a bit, it was busier and the dance prices were down from a ridiculous $30 to an almost acceptable $25.

So, what is it like now? Based on two recent evening visits It’s back to the same crap. Dance prices are back up to $30. The good looking new dancers are gone for the most part and the place is empty.

I spent quite a bit of time talking to one of the girls I know while she gave me a pretty nice shoulder massage. She said it is dead all the time. She said it is depressing and getting impossible to make money. It is further compounded by the fact they are watched closely and they are timed to the minute on dances. When they finish a dance they literally run out of the rum to tell them they are done as not to get charged for another dance. It was mentioned that new girls start and they last a week or two and leave because there is very little money to be made. The club raised the dance prices back to $30, not for the dancer’s sake, but because the club now takes $10 per dance instead of $5. When the she asked me for a dance I declined, just because I did not want the club to get any of my money. I just tipped her $50 for her time and the massage. She was excited over $50 bucks, which is truly sad. I actually feel bad for the dancers here, and I don’t feel bad very often.
