is there such a thin* as too friendly? ...Nah.

It was a Saturday evening in late December and I had some time to kill before late dinner plans. I had read a lot about DD and its Top 40 status so I had to check it out. Found a decent parking spot in the side lot, walked in and paid a $20 cover.

The place looked pretty good - not huge, but with two bars. One bar is off to the side of the entrance where a half dozen guys sat watching football. Didn’t seem to be a whole lot of action going on there. The other bar was straight ahead, right next to the stage where two dancers were stripping.

One was Latina, one white - both attractive, at least 7 or 8s. It was pushing 8:00 and the shift was starting to change. Looked like a lot of 7ish day shifters were pitching a few older dudes at the other side of the bar.

I order a vodka soda for I think 10 bucks - it was a strong pour. One or two sips in and a very hot Latina dancer (Columbia) approached me. Not great English, and a low talker, so I had to ask her to repeat herself quite a bit. And when she asked if I wanted a dance, I had to ask a lot about how much and how the process worked. Ultimately, I learned by experience, because her answers were indecipherable.
