Ruby II's is a solid stop

Ruby's on the outside is pretty much the typical ideal of a low end strip club. Sleezy, shadyish and pretty much the kind of place you wouldn't spend your tim in if not for the naked women throwing themselves at you. It's not in the best neighborhood (bridgeport after all) and it's probably best to lock your doors before you go inside. However on the inside there's something endearing about the place...

There is a $7 cover, VERY thorough pat-down and 2(or was it 3? They didn't bother me after I bought 2 but the bouncer might've warned me that it was 3 at the door) drink minimum to stay inside. The atmosptere was relaxed. Friendly (but not too hot Bartender) and the drinks weren't the usual inflated strip alcohol prices. It was the kind of place that you actually wouldn't mind just stopping for a few drinks even if the tities weren't the main destination.

I guess this place is newly renovated because it was clean and I do recall them being closed a couple months ago for a few weeks in a row. The Private area is nice. It's far enough from the boncer that he's not breathing down your back but of course still close enough that if something wrong happened he'd ear about it. There were maybe 4-5 girls rotating on that night and were in a rotation for stage time. I actually had nice conversations with a couple and and even nicer private session with a caramel brazillian or latina. Make sure you pay attention. She did try to get me for the first song. She started her dance halfway into it and told me it was over. I politely pushed back at how it wasn't fair (I'm a smooth talker like that) and the agreed to not count it and danced for the entirety of the next song. I rewarded her for paying for two more dances then she offered the vip room but I did not partake. Perhaps next time.
