What happened ?

DV8 has been one of my go to clubs in the Portland area for years but my last two visits have been pretty disappointing. Most recently I stopped by on black Friday. I was expecting it to be a little slower being a holiday weekend but even the small ghetto clubs in the area weren't this bad. There was maybe 10 customers in the building, zero at the rack and the 5 or so dancers on shift looked more like a weekday day shift crew then a Friday night lineup (possibly why nobody was at the rack)

I went ahead and sat at the rack even though the ladies were far from my type and tipped pretty generously by my standards anyway (about $5 a song) because I feel guilty not tipping well when there's nobody else at the rack. the third dancer gets on stage and after going through the motions for the first song decides to sit down on the stage and began yelling at the other customers to either come to the stage and tip or gtfo. This was about as much as I could handle of DV8 on this night and left for another club. I'll probably stop by again on my next visit to Portland but if this is going to be the new standard at DV8 it'll be my last visit
