Bad Luck, but Good Place

I came to this club on a Saturday afternoon around 3 or 4. I immediately noticed that although the club itself isn't very small, the only seating is immediately around the bar with the stage in the middle, making the club feel much smaller than it is. There is technically seating to either side of the stage with couches/cushier chairs, but I've been told by some of the dancers that sitting there indicates that you're not willing to tip and not interested in getting any attention from any dancers.

The stage itself however, is composed of multiple separate platforms forming a t-shape, so the club feels cozy rather than claustrophobic. I really appreciated the surplus of hot, sexy women of color and black women especially. Unfortunately, immediately upon coming in, I caught the eye of one of the less attractive dancers and she wouldn't stop hounding me. She didn't look too bad, so I figured I'd get a dance or two. Her dances consisted of repetitive, formulaic grinding with a slight handshake at the end to convince me to stay for more. Sadly, it took me a couple of dances to realize that the handshake was not a promise of extras in the next dance, but rather just a marketing tactic.

After hanging around me for a bit longer after making it clear that I didn't want any more dances, I tried to attract the attention of some of the other dancers, but they all seemed either busy entertaining regulars or more interested in sitting backstage than spending time with customers. This lack of attention, however, was not helped by the fact that the dancer from earlier stayed on my arm the entire time despite my subtle and not so subtle hints that she was wasting her time. Although my visit was fairly disappointing this time around, the quality of the girls and value at $20 a dance makes me hopeful that my next time, sans the hanger on, will be better.
