Never went in

Decided to try out some more black clubs on Wednesday. I got here and this was probably the most "packed" parking lot of the clubs I visited up til this point. Security guy also was the most thorough pat down as he stuck his fingers into the crevices of my gym shoes...lol! Damn! And crotch grabbed me twice! He takes me to the window and to pay cover and it's $15 bucks. I wasn't feeling that, so I turned right around and went back to the car.

The rest of this review is for Gold Rush Bar 4919 N. Main St in JAX. Along with Silver Foxx, this was another club I would visit when I lived in the area back 2000-02. It was known as Mirage back then. I had read someone else review that the club had been closed for some months, but got intel of it reopening from its new owners that also run Mascaras.

Got here 12:45am and arrived to absolutely PACKED parking lot that took me some time to find a space. No charge to park but cover was $20. Normally wouldn't pay, but the nostalgic factor kicked in, as I wanted to see what the club looked like since back in the day.
