Late Su. nite:got free pass from hotel bellman, worthwhile thing to do as club is located adjacent to Highland Mall AND within walking distance of several hotels. Tonight was uncrowded, but hardly slow as there were 2 stages continuously in use. Each dancer started out 2 song set on main stage (festooned with carnival ride syle like bulbs), then rotated to aux stage near entry, then off to floor for LD's. Not sure what cover$ normally is but mixed drinks go for $7.// DANCERS: A rather eclectic mix, attractiveness range 4.5-8.5, 2 near lower end, 3 near upper end, the rest of 10-12 were 6-7ish. There was 1 Black, 1 next door Blonde type(also the busiest),1 large/heavy Latina, 1 part Mexican Asian, 1 fine young Strawberry Blonde, 1 artsy 2 tone w. slim build, etc, etc..//MILEAGE: Very good stageside mileage/interaction. Laps were $20, at least moderately strong 1 way/some basic 2 way. No cut songs, minimal DJ blabber, my kind of atmosphere.// VIPS: Stuck with main area , 2 different VIP areas, not true VIP, merely the same mainroom type tables in a bit more secluded area. Explained to me that table in VIP area runs $30/hr, dances still $20 back there. I would personally spring for VIP in moderate to borderline heavy hours, but not during heaviest hrs, as they are located away from stage & I value initial stage interaction as an "interview session" for potential laps// BOTTOM LINE: Sugars is a more upscale than average club, yet still has the right intangibles for good time. This was a weak night, unlike 1 visit a few yrs back where I felt like I wandered into a 7Up factory. Yet tonights good , but not strongest lineup still yielded a good time.
