Limited Menu "Buffet"

I was in Manhattan on business and decided to take the bait and sign up the Lido Room invitation list. Glad I did. As many of you know, this is a "floating" club that uses various venues around town. My hotel was at 44th and 6th and it turned out Lido was doing an evening gig in the west 40's in midtown, so I decided to check it out.

Steep cover, as I recall it was $50 or whereabouts. Nice digs. Fully stocked bar. Felt a bit like a big cocktail party except there were exceptionally beautiful women circulating who were available for short-term liaisons in the lap dance area. The women were generally stunning and accomplished conversationalists from the modeling and entertainment worlds primarily, with the occasional coed from NYU or Columbia.

Lap dances reasonably priced at $20 per tune, just as you'd find in my usual haunts in central Florida. I had dances with three or four of the girls, all very enjoyable, while never crossing the line between propriety and extras. But of course if you're looking for extras in Manhattan you'll be calling an escort service, or so I'm told. "No sex in the champagne room."
