I've been here the last few...

I've been here the last few Sunday afternoons. I saw Jennifer, a dancer who had been gone for the last year and a half. Really glad to see her and she filled me in on what she had been doing and where her friend, a former dancer, now works. However, one of my favorites, Mia, quit at the beginning of the month. I would always get a bunch of dances from her and when we were done, I would ask how many it was and she would usually say, "I don't know, how many do you think it was?" and would never argue about how many I thought I got. She will be missed.

It has been rather slow the last few Sunday afternoons. Small crowds and maybe 5 or 6 dancers when I've been there. One positive to this is that I noticed the songs seemed longer, so you can get a longer dance. Of course, with that few dancers, it's really slim pickings.

Despite it being slow with a low number of dancers, it is not why I dropped my rating on this club. The most annoying thing here, and I have not seen it at any other club, is that when you walk in, a bouncer seats you and expects to be tipped. When it's busy, maybe, but seats are plentiful during the times I go. Last time I went, the bouncer hung around for a few seconds and I gave him a dollar so that he would go away. I feel that if you are old enough to be here, you are old enough to find your own damn seat. One of my other favorites mentioned that she was also subjected to this crap when she came in to hang out. She agreed that it is pretty lame to have to tip someone just for walking you to a seat.
