How far they have fallen

First visit to TMC in almost a year - had an evening to kill and money to spend, so I thought I would see how the old place was doing. Arrived around 8:30 and saw a fair number of cars in the customer lot, although not a ton up front (where the dancers are valet parked usually). Walked inside, now they swipe/scan your license to see if you're old enough (I guess) and whether you're a member. My membership had expired, and I thought about renewing but decided against it - let's see how tonight goes first.

Walked to the back and immediately noticed that they had removed the former steakhouse/restaurant room, and replaced it with ping pong tables. They added a 'game room' with pool tables and some other things a couple of years ago, and did that one nicely (enclosed room, sound system, TVs, etc). For this they just tore down the old walls and left everything open. Really strange, and doesn't fit in with the (old) vibe of the place.

I also noticed that despite the number of cars in the parking lot, there only seemed to be one other customer there. Did see about 5-6 girls (none that I recognized), and they were all sitting together by the back bar. There was no energy at all in the club - really felt like nobody wanted to be there. I grabbed a beer and sat down. Watched one girl go through the motions on stage - she looked more bored than I felt. Had one other dancer walk by with a half-hearted "wanna dance". I politely declined and decided to cut my losses and get out of there before it got any worse.
