A break before the Holiday break!

It was a Saturday night and it had been a long day. So I decided to get out and have some fun. I had not visited Dreamgirls at Rick's for a few months and thought I'd give it a try. It was raining out, so the parking closest to the entrance was pretty much full up. I found a spot further out and parked. I headed in and paid the cover. The main room was actually busier than I had seen in a while, especially in the back corner by the smaller stage. There was a smaller bachelor party in the house and everyone in the group seemed to be having fun. That helped to bring the energy level of the club up and smiles on the dancers' faces. There were a lot of new dancers, but that was to be expected.

There were also a lot of familiar faces as well. I caught up with one of the dancers who recognized me and came up right away. I didn't get any dances with her, as I wanted to just relax a little and assess the overall talent level this night. I can say that for the most part there appeared to be a dancer for almost everyone's tastes. I saw a brunette with a barely there one piece, but couldn't connect with her at all that night because she was so busy. Not sure her dances would be worth it as she seemed to go in and out of the private booth area after one or two dances with the customers who were able to catch her. Maybe I got lucky then... I did end up getting a few dances with the first girl who came up to me, as she was always pretty friendly with me and I liked to reward her for her patience. Overall, it was a decent night.
