Great dissappointment

Up until about 4 years ago, I used visit Anthony's on occasion during lunch. A job location change made that impractical. On Dec 20, though, I had an opportunity to make an early afternoon stop. It was 1:30pm when I arrived. I used to visit earlier, typically 12:15 to 12:30 and there always three to five girls already around ready to socialize. This time when I arrived there were two dancers still in street clothes sitting with someone who was either a regular or management. And there was the bartender. All were attractive.

The club apparently was renovated in July. The bar was now a much larger horseshoe and the dance walkway is now one large area versus the smaller two it used to be. Another guy arrived a couple minutes after me and about 20 minutes later, a third customer arrived. Thankfully they have a large bank of televisions to watch. I was there an hour and the two girls never left their friend except on finally heading off to the dressing area. A third girl did arrive after about 30 minutes. She went back and changed quickly, came out to say hi to the second guy who came in after me (apparently another regular) and then she disappeared back to the dressing room.

No girls were up for dancing. The bartender was friendly and at least she had a three inch space of bare midriff. That was the most bare skin I saw while I was there. In all the years I've stopped there, I've never had such a boring experience. I rated the value a three because the only things there to spend money on were Keno and drinks. Very sad.
