Probably won't be back

I was never a regular at this place, but I went frequently enough that a dancer or two would remember me. Even if there wasn't a familiar dancer, I never had trouble finding a girl I liked for a few dances and/or a trip to the VIP area. I haven't been here in a while, and the last time was rather lackluster - it was the first time I had the "not a regular, no dance for you!" experience. This was another.

So, here it is, a dreary Monday afternoon in mid-December and I decided to pay a visit to the ol' Brass Flamingo. The place was pretty empty. I think there were fewer than 10 dancers on duty, and I liked 3 of them (not a bad ratio, really). I tipped them all on stage (fivers, which is usually enough for them to know I am actually interested in a dance and not just going for a cheap feel for a dollar), and asked if they were available for a dance after they got off stage. They all said they'd stop by for a dance. None of them did, unfortunately. The first spent most of the time sitting with someone (lucky guy, 'cause she was the hottest of the 3). The other two immediately went in the back for dances (also lucky guys, because those two dancers were pretty nice, too).

By the time the first of the three came back on stage, I was done with my second beer. Also, I hadn't seen the other two since they went to the back. Decision time. So I went to tip the first dancer again and ask about a dance. She said she was "pretty busy". Still no sign of the other two, so I left.
