Slow night at the Gold Club

I arrived at the Gold Club around 10 pm. It was a very slow night. There were hardly any customers.

There were about 6 or 7 dancers on duty. There was also one bartender. The dancers consisted of 3 or 4 white girls and 3 African Americans. I did not find any of the dancers to be particularly attractive. (I thought the bartender was probably the best looking lady in the building). Somewhat understandably given the lack of patrons, none of the dancers seemed particularly excited to be there. However, there was one young African American lady with a thin/athletic build who actually did put some effort into giving a more enthusiastic and entertaining show on the stage. So, I tipped her a few extra dollars at the stage.

So, all in a all, a rather disappointing night at the Gold Club. However, I am sure I will be back, as I have been there many times. In my experience, the number and quality of dancers can fluctuate widely. However, it is relatively clean and safe environment with plenty of free parking, and is easily accessible from 40 and 895 - so, it's enough to keep me coming back from time to time despite the occasional disappointment in the quality of entertainment.
