It has been several decades since my last visit to this particular Sammy's dating back to the days when Angela "Angie" Little graced the stages of this club before she became Miss August 1998 for Playboy. Not much has changed over the years from the outside except for the addition of a smoking pit outside the backdoor of the club. The bar itself seems smaller since the management did away with the stage in the back left corner, replaced with several private dance booths which I did not take a close look at. From a talent prespective the girls were below average at best with maybe one blond caucasian and two AA dancers topping out a 7.5 but not much beyond that unfortunately.

A bottle of Miller Light set me back $4.75 which was about $1.00 higher than it was before when the talent was much better. The area around the club has noticeably improved with the closing of the old bowling alley across the street replaced by a new CVS. Years ago it was always wise to take a look around before exiting the car but on this Thursday night in mid-December that really wasn't necessary.

The bar had set up a small BBQ buffet table near the rear door which was an open invitation for the dancers to feast in between sets. From the appearances of some of the dancers it probably wasn't the first time that management had set up a feed table inside the club. Will give the Furnace a look later this week when I have time. Hopefully the talent level at Furnace will exceed tonight's lineup. At least I still have the Little Angie memories from 30 years ago))
