Another slow day
I visited again and found the last few visits have been really slow. I have been traveling some recently and have noticed that many SC clubs have much smaller crowds than they used to which have resulted in fewer dancers. I found this true in Trophy on this visit. The dancer quality wasn't where it had been on previous visits. The have mostly dancers in the 5-6 rang with couple 7's and maybe an 8. It appears this industry is on a downward spiral. However, Trophy is still my favorite upstate club as Lust, while being a nicer club, has a more uptight staff and a more of a "discouraging touching" dance policy..
Trophy has the best mileage between the two clubs (I don't consider Bucks as a legitimate club). However, Trophy has made some rule changes and I'm not sure if their lack of customers is a result. The new bartenders aren't very attractive and I have caught one sending dancers over to beg for drinks which is annoying. They have decent drink specials and that's good. However, usually I order a glass of water and sometimes a soda with my drinks which I will nurse through the evening. I try to stop drink a while before I leave to make sure i'm good to drive. The water was free and the soda I would pay for but would get free refills. However, now a free water is like a 4 ounce plastic cup, otherwise it's $2.00 and sodas are $4.00 with no free refills.
Not a huge deal money wise but it's the principle. Drink prices were raised not long ago by .50. Again not a huge deal but the lower prices were a plus for this club vs. Lust. Now the drinks are more inline with Lust prices. They also have a new thing which is they have what's called a house feature each month. Not sure if I get it, they announce her and try to get customers to go up to the stage for two shows even though you have seen her dance earlier in the evening. I did get a few dances with decent mileage but I couldn't find any extras or OOC possibilities. I really do miss the old days, there was more energy with a party vibe and the dancers were far more liberal. All in all it wasn't terrible but it wasn't what I would call fun either.
