Snow = low dancer turnout
Headed over to the Playhouse early Saturday afternoon before the snow got too bad. I was hoping to get dances from two of the dancers who’s LDs I have been enjoying as of late, but unfortunately the snow kept them from showing up along with a couple of other scheduled girls.
First off, a complaint: as a BYOB establishment, I have always been able to bring in sodas or energy drinks without an issue if Betty or Maria were tending the bar. On Saturday, the woman tending the bar gave me shit from the get-go, not even a hello, and confiscated my sodas saying that there was a sign out front stating that only beer or wine could be brought in. When I asked why, she said it was because they sell soda and energy drinks, therefore mine were, essentially, a conflict of sales interest. This makes zero sense; if you are allowed to bring drinks in, why should they care what type it is? How is me bringing in a 6 pack of beers from Wegmans for $12 different than me bringing in 4 Redbulls or Cokes that cost me $8. In either scenario, the bar would not be getting drink money. Any way, my $5 entrance fee got me a cup of ice with 2oz of Coke drizzled over it and then the water bottle I bought later cost $5+tip.
I turned down two of the oldest dancers who hit me up right away while I waited for the dancers I wanted. Eventually I asked the bartender if either girl was there (presumably in back doing marathon dance sessions for other PLs) and she confirmed that both were no-shows. As such, the two oldest dancers were looking great as always and were the best looking of the less than 10 girls in the club, so I took them back one after the other.
