Nice pub with dancers

Carl’s Lounge is not really a strip club, exactly, but I like it. It’s located in a small strip mall on Manheim Road, a commercial strip just south of O’Hare Airport. It’s not a high rent area, but it’s not the ghetto, either. I stopped by at about 4:00 in the afternoon.

Carl’s is basically a nice, blue-collar bar with bikini dancers. There is a large bar that runs the length of the right wall. Along the back wall is a couple of rows of small, high-top tables and chairs. To the left is a large area with four pool tables that takes up almost two-thirds of the space. Past the pool tables over the left wall there is a loft area, which was closed. I was told it is only open on weekends when it’s crowded. The restrooms, which are large and very clean, are also along the left wall. A leg lamp from the “A Christmas Story” movie sits on the counter behind the bar. I think it captures the essence of the place.

There were a half-dozen guys sitting at the bar when I walked in, and about the same number of girls. There was one Asian, who I later found out was a Filipina, and the rest white, most of which were Latina. Whoever hires these girls for Carl’s has an eye for big boobs. I don’t think any of them had less than a DD chest. There were a couple that were below average in looks, but most were in the 6 to 7 range, if you like curves.
