Monday about 7pm

I stopped by Johnny A's Hitching Post from about 7-9pm on a Monday. I've been maybe once before but a few years back,; since then I've read a lot of good reviews so I figured it was worth a shot. It was fine, but honestly, I think I just timed it wrong.

As I drove into the parking lot there were a lot more cars than I expected. I walked in and a bouncer type said hello, how's it going, made kind of a show of looking me in the eye to make sure I wasn't trouble/drunk/a minor/whatever, and then let me in with no cover. I walked around the bar and took a seat on the far side. A bad choice, I think, in the end -- both because the game was playing where I couldn't see it and because you get a little less easy access to girls making the rounds. (Same tip parade from girls *inside* the bar, obviously, but less access to grabbing a dancer for a drink.)

Anyway: I timed the shifts poorly I think. Day shift girls heading out, night shift girls barely there yet. There were almost always a few girls dancing on the bar, but there were only about a half dozen in the two hours I was there. Mostly attractive, with a few 6's, a few 8's, and one 9. But alas the 9 was aloof. Got a couple dances from an Asian girl who gave a great grind, right before I had to head out. Was a good dance but no extras in the card with this one.
