This place is sort of strange,...

This place is sort of strange, but not a terrible place to spend some time if you are trapped in silicon valley. The room is sort of large and long, with the stage running right in the middle. The stage is also long and sort of narrow, with two poles that appear to need better anchoring. The inside is not dissimilar to the inside of a barn, except there is a long bar along on wall (juice and sode only). I paid $15 cover on a week night. It was sort of late by the time I got there, and there crowd was pretty small. There appeared to be a lot of girls working, but most were in the dressing room, only coming out occasionally to either do their stage show or to see if any new customers came in. I was suprised at the quality of the women - the worst was ok, but most were at least cute with nice bodies and a few were definite hotties. Because of the strange shape of the stage, you really need to sit at the rail to get a good view of the stage show, and the dancers definately work the people tipping at the rail. Some got pretty up close and personal. Unfortunately, most of the girls I saw couldn't dance very well. The dances pretty much consisted of posing for the guys at the rail, which added sort of a weird peep show element to the shows, especially shen a girl was working someone else at the rail. I sort of felt like I was crashing in on someone else's peep booth show. Private dances were available, and there is a private back room for private shows. Unfortunately, one girl with a hot bod but a bad face kept hitting me up to take her in the provate room, and she made it pretty clear I would enjoy myself, but her personality (and OK, her face) turned me off to prospect. There was a couple of other girls that I would have taken the chance with, but this other girl had sort of laid her claim to me so the others pretty much stayed away. I suspect the private shows may not be that great anyway, because virtually no one was getting them, and a few in the crowd were obvious regulars. At the same time, the crowd looked pretty blue collar, and the price tag might have been the barrier. There were a couple real hotties though, and I enjoyed watching them. If they learned to dance, they would be fantastic.
