Whispers Is Looking Better but ...

I went into Whispers the day before Thanksgiving. That I knew they would probably not have a lot of dancers was a given. I was correct. There was one, Ryan, who has been there - on and off - since the club opened. She is older, friendly, likes to talk, and gives a good dance but not a high mileage dance. The club has changed out its furniture. Gone are the tables with the standard chairs. Now there are two person love seats with two comfortable chairs around a small, lover table. The couches that were along the walls by the bathrooms are now on the west wall and have tables in front of them.

In their former place is a table with what looks like a beer pong setup. The small stage that was on the east wall is now in the center of the room will a pole and not the old wheel. The front stage has been remodeled and the lighting seems to be better around it. Sadly, the table dance area hasn't been improved. The same old standard chairs in small alcoves in a raised area to the south of the bar. There are still 2 pool tables. Ryan said that there are more dancers usually later in the afternoon and going into the evening. All in all, Whispers has improved interiorly but really needs to have more dancers in earlier to compete with Fancy's just across the parking lot.
