BYOB joint visit of a lesser reviewed club
Club setup: On a street corner with parking along the south and a parking lot on the west side behind the building. Walk in from the parking lot and not the street side. Upon entering, curtained couch area on the right, bathrooms on left, about 25 feet in is the bar/dj/doorman where you pay the cover. After the bar, the place opens up to the width of the building. High flat top table to left and the dressing room hard left corner. A few low tables, and stage seating around the stage to the left. Wall built in seating on the right wall and a fire door leading to the street.
I had to stop in after reading about the way the club counter demonstrated the backlash of being were they are located, since I was only 20 miles or so away... look it up for a funny read.
Vibe: real country. But that being stated was a nice divergence from the gentleman's club atmosphere. Music was standard but not so loud your head was thumping. Rustic and utilitarian would be the best interior description. There were two other customers there the night I was there... both regulars. Standard practice is to go to the stage, take a seat and tip a dollar or two per song for each girl. Nice close up views are given during the stage tipping. IT IS COUNTRY so be prepared. For being a stranger to a strange land the dancers went out of their way to make me comfortable..... good county manners.
