Still a favorite

I was in Providence for a meeting and had some time to kill before heading back to the airport so I figured I would stop in for a drink or two. I had been here on my prior trip to Providence and was impressed....that trend continued.

As others may have mentioned, this is not the largest club (at least the main floor - I have not been to the top floors), but it is comfortable. You can usually find a seat at one of the two bars and, if not, there are a few tables and chairs near the stage. The club is clean and comfortable. Overall a nice place to spend some time.

The drink prices are typical - I forgot what my beer cost but it was not the cheapest or the most expensive I've had. The bartenders were friendly and were working hard to make sure everyone had a drink and no one was waiting too long. The two bars is a nice touch as well - if one bar is busy you can just head over to the other one. One of the bartenders would occasionally take a walk through the club to see if anyone needed a refill to save you from a trip to the bar. One of the managers also gave me a card for a free drink..the only club that I've ever seen do that.
