Yuck

This place requires membership. They scan your driver's license into their tablet computer and you pay $5 to get an annual membership. The layout of the club is split level: there is a bar area right inside the door and then you go up about 8 steps to another area that has the stage with a pole and also a bunch of seats and a sofa. You can see the stage from the bar area as well but it's high and a bit of a distance. There are only about 6 or 8 seats at the bar, so when you arrive and they're taken, you're awkwardly standing around behind others to get a drink.

It is a smoking club with no discernible ventilation or smoke eaters, so if you're not a smoker, it's pretty disgusting; with permanently-seated senior citizens puffing away on what might be their last breath at any moment and sharing their exhaust with you in the closed space. There is a white poodle wandering around and laying on the floor; when I say white I mean it was probably originally white, because like everything else in the club, it has been dirt- and smoke-stained to a yellow/brown patina and not cleaned in 20 years.

Thankfully, I did not need to use the restroom in the time I was there, so I have no report on that section of the club, which I think is down the stairs from the bar area. There were two or three white dancers: they were in reasonable shape but did not try very hard on stage: no pole tricks, and a few were barely dancing...more like just walking around on the stage. They were in their upper 20s and 30s in age. When they were not dancing they were sitting at a table and either smoking or sleeping. Yes, sleeping with their head down on the table, in the same area with the customers, and when the owner walked by and saw her sleeping, he looked directly at her, and just kept walking by.
