Weird visit day before thanksgiving

So I was on my way home but I didn’t feel like going home so early, as I had Locke up my office early and sent everyone home for the long weekend

I decided to check out DDs again after a few disappointing visits there the last few times. I get there and park my car the valet doesn’t bother me and then I realize why they have a new day manager whom I recognize from another club who is a good guy and he watched me pull up told the valet to leave me alone and gives me a hug as he walks me inside right past the door girl tells her I’m with him and we step inside and chat for about 10 minutes. He gives me a rundown on how he’s trying to make a few improvements and we talk for a bit about folks we both are friends with, then he tells me to feel free to sit in VIP section but I decide to sit at the bar for a bit first just checking out the talent.

While I’m sitting the bartender serves me a comp and I check out there seems to be 8-10 dancers on the shift none of which particularly interest me. I light a cigar and a few dancers approach asking if I want some company I decline politely and resume watching the stage show.

The crowd is a bit light but it’s the day before thanksgiving so I just relax for a bit and move over to the VIP section and my buddy comes over sits with me and tells me truthfully that they’re a bit light in the talent department because of the holiday but promised me if I come in next week he will be sure to have a few that I like and hands me a bunch of passes for free entree any day or time I like, I finish up a beer and leave thinking I will take him up on his offer maybe, Monday afternoon shift and if it’s promising I’ll start coming here a bit more often. Like my title says not a bad or good visit but I’ll check it out next week and if it’s good I’ll post another review of the club.
