I Hope Management is Reading Our Reviews

Last month I wrote on here about Follies entitled, “Not Exactly the Same as Before for Me Right Now” thinking it was just regarding my perception. Since then, I have read more and more other reviews on here about the quality of dancers at Follies and thus the fun times being less and less. I mentioned back then that if this continues then we the good paying customers may show up less and less thus the spiral down will take effect which in turn the better dancers will show up less and less.

I don’t want to see this happen, but I am in agreement with many others that there is not a whole lot keeping us or getting us to keep going there as often other than the hope of striking gold again or finding a gem. But saying I hope to find a diamond in the rough sounds like a comment meant for other clubs, not Follies. I sure hope management is seeing or hearing about all of our reviews because like in sports, if the owner is unwilling to put a good product on the field, fan attendance will be down.

And speaking about attendance, I showed up at 4:15pm on a Friday afternoon and had to wait in line. I only remembered once standing in line around this time of day. The line was only like 5 deep but when I eventually did get inside, the place was by no means crowded as I have seen it often before, without a line out front. There were hardly any guys standing in the bar seating area; and the “standing against wall only” was only half filled. I don’t know, maybe the fire department cracked down on Follies room capacity or perhaps Follies is just trying to make it look like they’re in high demand. It really wasn’t that crowded on this day.
