Not worth a trip

I was passing through Mobile so I gave this place a shot, the Den is the last room of a strip mall. Cover is $20, and since the dancers may get nude, no alcohol is served; bottle of water was $3. Bar is on the left as soon as you walk in, nice stage with a very tall pole is to the right, with average table and chairs around the stage. At first glance I didn't see much "hotness" in the group. There was a group of dancers hanging around a couple guys at the end of the bar, there was another group hanging around a table with some guys, three sitting by themselves and two more sitting along the wall.

I guess if you want to be popular there, come in with a cooler of beer and an assortment of other alcohol products and the girls will hang all over you for free drinks. The girls did go on stage for two song sets during the few hours I was there. A couple were very pretty, but they never came by, even after tipping them because they hung with the tables that had alcohol. The only touching allowed at the tip rail is patting the butt, one even grabbed my hand and placed it on her rear. The hottest girl with the largest breasts (they were nice) was in the trio siting alone. I sat at the tip rail and tossed money on the stage, she just danced around, never smiled, never made eye contact; when she finished her set, she picked up the money and went back to her chair with the other two. The second time she was on stage, she did talk to me, she said "save your money". I guess that was her way of telling me she wasn't coming over. Eventually a couple girls came over to see if I wanted a dance. A couch dance was $20 a song, fully clothed; $30 topless but you can only touch her rear.

VIP dance is fully nude, you have to buy a $20 wrist band for access, and it's $40 per song. The amount of contact is up to the dancer. You can also go for time, $150 for 15 mins or $300 for 30 mins. No one got any dances during the time I was there. One dancer told me lots of guys just come there for a place to drink. Some came in with big rolling coolers, sat down and drank beer; most never even were looking at the dancers. It was just a place to hang out and drink your own beer, for a $20 fee. A couple of the dancers certainly had potential for having fun with, but at the prices they quoted for the amount of contact allowed, certainly not much of a return on your investment. I wouldn't go there for the dancing entertainment, but if you had a cooler full of beer and was looking for a place to sit to drink it, and wanted some females to help you drink it, this is the place to hang out.
