Friendly atmosphere!
Visiting from the states, there's definitely a difference. There was no cover entering the Brass Rail. The bouncers welcome you. You are required to purchase a first drink. Mind you that if you plant sip water or soda, there's a markup on the price. Dancers walk around the area, they vary, most were very beautiful. They would introduce themselves, make a quick chat, then ask you if you are interested in a dance. You can politely decline and they will move on with no hassle. There's a stage area on the right side. A dance would do (I think) 3 songs. First is with her outfit, 2nd is full nude, and may include a third depending on shift.
There are two backroom areas for dances on the first level. The one in the front of the club is arranged with a bit more spacing. If it gets crowded in the backroom, you could trip over other patron legs. There were also a few private booths with curtains but no one was using them. Upstairs was the VIP area, I believe you pay a membership fee (lifetime) and you can take a dancer upstairs. It's a bit more private with curtains, but I have yet to try it.
Most dancers would talk to you for a bit if she takes you into the backroom during mid-song. they will wait for the next song to begin. I believe every 5 songs, they would ask you if you wish to continue, but be sure to stop her after a song or two. She will keep going unless you say something.
