Off night, big let down

I've been liking on the site here for about a year, and figured it was finally time for me to join and start pulling my own weight. I lived in Tampa from 19-23 and naturally visited Mons and 2001 plenty for bachelor parties and birthdays, but I never ventured out to any of the other clubs in town. I was a broke college kid, so I'm sure money was a bug factor, but back then, I also didn't feel comfortable going alone and none of my friends went more often than the parties I already mentioned. Fast forward about 20 years to about 3 months ago when I found myself in Tampa on a business trip, with nothing to do on a Tuesday night.

My hotel was next door to Thee Doll House, but I was in the mood for full nudity. I still hadn't gotten to explore the Tampa SC scene, but over the years I'd always heard good things about the wild times people have had at the Pink Pony, so I figured this was as good an excuse as any. I arrived around 8:30/9:00, which I figured would be late enough into the evening shift for things to at least be getting started. I should have known better when there were only a couple cars in the parking lot, but I figured it never hurts to be outnumbered by the ladies so I went in.

My next warning was hen the door guy said to me "it's kind of early, but the girls will start rolling in soon, so I'll only charge you half price for the entry. I walked in to find a typical club, filled with mirrors and neon. After my eyes adjusted to the darkness I realized that there were no dancers on the main stage. There was music playing, (can't recall if a dj was working but with how slow it was, I'm sure it was just a mix), but no one was dancing on stage. I look around, and I see a very attractive Asian bar tender in her late-20's or early-30's standing behind the long bar on the right. On the left, on the other side of the main stage was a sitting area where two guys in their mid-20's had 3 dancers sitting and talking to them. I didn't see a single other dancer in the place.
