Wisconsin strip clubs just don't get...

Wisconsin strip clubs just don't get it. Or perhaps it's the dancers who don't get it. I go to clubs all over the country but am always amazed at the missed potential of clubs in Wisconsin. And Club Bristol once again proved my point on a recent Sunday night. Plenty of girls. Most fairly average looks & body wise--but OK if they did something. However, for reasons that are a mystery to me--they just sit there. They do their stage work--and they sit there. They talk to each other. They talk to regulars--who almost NEVER buy dances at Bristol. Sometimes they sit by themselves and talk to no one. But they almost never solicit dances from anyone. I watched a young brown haired chick who looked like she might be fun in a private dance. Two hours--she never tried even once to sell a dance. Why are these ladies there??? How do they make a living? It certainly can't be from the few bucks they collect from the Hip Hop crowd that hangs out at the Bristol tip rail. Usually if you make good eye contact with a dancer, they'll ask you if you want a dance...or at least stop & say something. Not at Club Bristol. They just walk past and go sit with someone who has no intention of ever buying a dance all night. Management is just as "slow." No pitch on the PA for dances. No 2 for 1 or price specials. Just announce the dancer's name & back to the music. I'm assuming the Club takes a cut on private dances---why wouldn't they be promoting them??? Maybe they assume the increasingly migrant & Hip Hop clientele can't pay. This place is a mystery to me....even among the admittedly weak field of Wisconsin clubs, Bristol has disappointed 3 out 4 visits in the last year. Is the game really that hard???
