Dead dead dead

Stopped in at Spearmint Rhino late one Sunday night with a friend who wanted to check out the club. Previous experience had taught me that there wouldn't be much going on, and there wasn't.

The club itself is very nice inside, one of the nicest east of I-205. There's a bar (natch), lottery machines, one stage and two lap dance areas. One of lap areas is supposed to be nude and one topless, but I've seen girls get nude in the topless only area and girls leave the panties on in the nude area. Your best bet is probably to try to find a girl who will bend the rules in the topless area. That shouldn't be difficult because this place is consistently among the most dead clubs I've been to in Portland. On the other hand, if you're a visual sort of guy you should know that the topless dance area is so dark you won't see much of anything.

When I arrived there were five or six girls on shift. All of them appeared to be bored out of their skulls and being ignored by the few customers in the club. Most were typical for Portland: thin and white. There was also one chunky white girl and one cute AA spinner. Since customers were mostly ignoring the stage, the girls spent a lot of time teaching each other pole tricks. The DJ was bored too. He spent most of the time I was there going around to customers asking for song requests.
