Disappointing Dancers on a Weekday Afternoon and Evening

I was last at The Mons on a Wednesday afternoon and early evening, about 4 pm to about 9 pm. I must say I was surprised at how unattractive the girls were, over all, and I didn't have much fun on this trip.

For those of you who don't already know, Mons Venus is the McDonald's of lap-dance clubs. There are no frills to the setting at all. The price is rather high -- $20 entry fee, at any time of day or night (re-entry is OK if you get your wrist stamped); no alcohol; very few types of non-alcoholic drinks served; very few tables; very small room; no private VIP room; couches for lappers line the exterior of the small room and are made out of vinyl like at a 1950s style diner. Girls circulate asking to give you lap dances, which run from $20 to $35 per song, depending on the girl and the arrangement you make with her.

There is a central circular stage with one pole. The stage sets are pretty tame, usually two girls up there just gyrating in the faces of whichever guys are one-dollar-tipping from one of the (roughly ten? fifteen?) stage-side stools. Girls play their own music from a wall-mounted jukebox. Bathroom is a mere two-holer -- one urinal, one toilet, barely a left-turn away from its entry-way; and a sorry sink. Oh, and some awesomely powerful hand dryers.
