Solid for a small club in a smaller city

I recently started traveling to Huntsville for work and had heard about the local club scene from some locals and also reading the reviews on here so decided to check them out . I got to The Pony in the late afternoon and stayed for a few hours. I’m not too familiar with the area so this place seemed to be a bit of a drive from my downtown hotel. Next time I visit I will definitely be using Uber or some other ride service because some of the dancers told me about LE always sitting between the two points.

The Pony sits in an Industrial park and has a fairly large parking lot. There wasn’t a doorman nor a cover at that time so not sure how much they charge or if it’s place that wands or pats you down . My first impression on entering was how small of a place it is. One stage sits in the center of the main floor with seating along the walls and a bar that may seat about 10 . Some tables scattered about and another more private seating area that elevated above the main floor . Their private dance area is decent . Maybe 10 or so “ slots “ on a comfortable bench with privacy dividers between each. They have a security guy back there when you first walk in who likes to frequently walk the row and also call out what number dance you are. I guess it’s not a bad idea so dudes don’t get in over their with the number of dances they’re paying for. Each time I took a dancer bad there I was the only one so maybe it’s not as bad late night when it’s crowded and that dance area is full. I was paying $25 per for the LDs which were pretty good with the ones I took bad. A lot of grinding and some touching with the hands permitted .

The drink prices were good IMO at $3 a per. The club profile on here says full bar which it is not. All they have is beer and a few malt beverages to pick from.
