Very Few Dancers

This was a very different kind of visit. I got there about noon. There was a guy taking the 3 dollars at the entrance. He then handed me a receipt for my 3 dollars and said it was good for ordering something off the menu.

Entering the club, I saw a guy just coming out of the backroom with a dancer, a dancer standing at the bar, a bartender and a server. That's it. No other dancers. No other patrons. Nobody on stage. Very dead. And it stayed that way for the next couple of hours. Why did I stay, you might ask? Well, because this lack of anything going on worked in my favor.

The dancer at the bar ended up being very friendly. I bought her a drink and we sat on one of the couches for probably 45 minutes. Went to the back room and did several dances. Friendly, but not over the top - not like it used to be. There were no managers monitoring, but I think the girls got their marching orders, and they seemed to follow them.
