Kahoots Gentlemen’s Club is located in northwest Columbus. There is no cover before 19:00. Monday through Saturday, beers are a dollar cheaper before 19:00. I was paying $4.75 for a Sincweiser during Happy Hour and $5.75 after. There was also a special on Miller for $3, but I think that was just a Saturday thing. The building was converted from a restaurant to a strip club. Not only was there signage about dining on the outside of the building, but dining booths like you’d see at a restaurant flanked each side of the large two-pole-position stage in the main room.

There is a two and a half foot tall tipping table surrounding the stage. There is also a single-pole auxiliary stage in the back left corner, two feet off the ground, but it was not in use. The bar is in a separate room up front. There is a full time kitchen, and the food looked appetizing and affordable. The private dances take place in the back of the club in booths. They are semi-private, but people walking through the corridors could voyeur. There are champagne rooms in the front of the club off of the bar with closing doors. The washroom is accessed through the small host room where you enter the club, then down a hallway. There is an outdoor patio for smokers.

Private dances are $30 per song. Once every hour, the DJ announced 2-for-1 lap dances, and the dancers were supposed to circulate and hustle the promotion. Most guys would wait until the 2-for-1 special to buy dances. I did try out the private dances and was not very impressed. Two-way contact was allowed, but the dancer was very mechanical and did not even remove her top. Although I only had one data point in my sample size, I felt like there was little to no value for customers at $30 per song. A bouncer records how many dances each entertainer does using a timecard system.
