Happier after happy hour

After a great session at Choice, I wasn't ready to go home for the evening so dropped in to Downtown Cabaret for happy hour amusements. There is free cover for entry before 6, maybe even 7. The place wasn't packed but I would say about a quarter of the tables were taken and the bar area was nearly full. There seemed to only be 5 or 6 dancers rotating on the stage, but there might have been more dancers doing privates in the VIP rooms. Dancers were not very active at all, probably as I learned, that it was nearing the end of their shift and they were tiring out. There was also a free buffet of pasta dish and garlic bread that wasn't too shabby.

I was approached by one lovely lady, Isabelle from Ecuador, who might just have the loveliest legs I've ever seen. We had some nice conversation and then she gave me one dance – not bad, but I've had better. She did one dance and then started putting her clothes back on, not even asking if i wanted another dance. She was better looking than about 95 percent of the girls at the full-nude clubs in Minneapolis.

Happy hour and shift change happens at 7. Unfortunately, but ultimately fortunately, I ordered another beer just as the clock struck 7. So I paid full price for a beer just when the room cleared out of dancer and customers. Sitting the room nearly alone with no one on stage for 3 or 4 songs, my attention drifted to the bar TVs where NFL Network was previewing the Sunday games. A few night shift dancers started popping up and a few looked promising.
