Worth the trip

I arrived at The House at 6 pm on a Friday afternoon for "Happy Hour". The first issue is parking. I was LUCKY to find an open spot a block and a half south and one bock west of the club -- near the police precinct of al places. As I left the club I discovered there is far more space east of Georgia Avenue. Some rowhouses are being rebuilt and after the contractors leave, there is plenty of parking in front of the construction fences.

When I walked in, the man on the gate determined that I was new. Told me that there was no cover charge at this hour but there is a one drink minimum. No problem; Coors Light was $5 until 8 pm. Mixed drinks were $10 to $15. There were six dancers in the house when I arrived but only one on stage. By 6:15 there were five dancers locating themselves on the three stages. After 7 pm there were 8 dancers in the house, rotating among the stages. Saw a printed ad that said there would be 25+ dancers later in the night.

As others have mentioned this is a very attractive club. The main stage (two poles) in located in a well with several tables and seating at pervert's row. On the main level -- with some sofas for which there is an extra charge to sit -- there are two smaller stages. One has a dance pole and just enough room for two dancers. The other stage is not much larger than your dining room table. and dancers use this stage to get close and personal. (No pole on stage Number 3 -- all floor work.) The lighting is adequate and attractive. LED lighting in the floors of the two smaller stages, and through a shelf LED lighting surrounding the large stage. Small ceiling spotlights throuout the club and a feew mirrors to reflect light. One word of caution: I jumped the gun and touched the first dancer I saw in an intimate way. She immediately complained to me and once she was off stage, reported me to Security who came over to inform me of the rules.
