Off Time

Spent Saturday here, from about 4 to 7. Watched the shift change, not for the better unfortunately. Saw a few familiar faces, including everyone's favorite bubbly short dancer who some morons keep naming. Ice Queen was there, took 2 dances with her and she thawed slightly, to the point of chatting after before I moved on. After that warm-up, I searched for a bit for my preference. Theres always a bit of everything here, in fact I noticed a bigger AA presence which was a different change. Only spotted 2 Cubans, hopefully they're on their way out slowly as even with my Spanish they can be a drag with their attitude sometimes.

I was sitting near the VIP, and did not note any frequent fliers as usual. Must have been that dead time so many talk about with this club. I expected this though, and came ready to wait. Turned out to be worth it, as I got dances with Alias. If you've been here a few times, you'll recognize her. Not the hottest, or biggest boobs or any of that, but one of the best personalities around HL, always can hold a chat and moves with energy, dancing and not dancing. Spent the rest of my time (and most of my $) with her on the floor. VIP is rare for me, as it has to be a dancer I am familiar with and who makes the upsell worth it. Left around 730, saw a few more rolling in but I'm not a night owl at HL, as I've had a much better time in the afternoon over the night shift.

Nights here seem like a different vibe, both dancers and crowd. Did see 1 guy get warned for hands, but mine were free and bouncers were watching so it seems sporadic on that rule. Really wish they'd just dump the 15$ wall dances, as it is annoying watching girls sit in those chairs when they could be cruising and dancing. The only reason I'd ever get one is so I wouldn't be rolling around while getting dances. However, that corner seat past the end of the extended VIP could have potential for those who prefer corners*. Final review: Not bad, not great. Seems either HL is great, good, or at its worst, still passable for a fun time and a good look. Still wanting to try BS, someday I'll make the drive a little further east. Stay frosty
