Back in Las Vegas for NAB...

Back in Las Vegas for NAB last week, so a stop at Cheetah's was mandatory. I had heard that the club had new ownership, but I didn't see any major changes. They have converted the room at the front from ordinary private dance to a four dance for $100 minimum. That is a bummer, and I didn't see anyone taking the girls up on that offer. The club's easy atmosphere is unchanged, and many of the dancers are old favorites. There are several hard-working Ukainian women who've been there several years. The $20 lap dances are out in the open but generally worthwhile. There is plenty of opportunity to watch the action throughout the room and get an idea of how the different girls work. The main stage dancer changes every three songs, its a pity but seldom do many men sit at the tip rail. There are also two small go-go stages where you can hang out and enjoy the ladies close up. The club is in an industrial but apparently safe neighborhood. On my last visit my buddy who was driving was so intent on getting inside the club that he left the keys in the car with the engine running. Fortunately the car was still there when we came out three hours later and it was still running! If you arrive by cab you pay a $20 cover, but it's only $10 if you drive and park next door.
